Dr. Alex Johnson, DO, is a comprehensive ophthalmic surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional eye care. A graduate of the University of Kentucky and Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia. During his residency, Dr. Johnson published innovative surgical techniques for managing surgical eye trauma, earning recognition for his contributions to the field. Known for his approachable demeanor, he was named “Consultant of the Year” by the Emergency Department for his outstanding collaboration and patient care.
Dr. Johnson specializes in advanced treatments for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, oculoplastics, and more. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their children Lincoln and Isla. A proud Kentuckian, he loves smoking meats and cheering for Kentucky sports.
